1. Scope of this document
This page governs your use of the Match Engine marketing site and enquiry process, and the standard terms under which a Match Engine build is delivered once commissioned. The signed statement of work you receive before work begins takes precedence over this page where the two differ.
2. What is delivered
A Match Engine build is custom software: a real-time, bidirectional matching system scored against the two entity types and weighted criteria you define at scoping — job-to-candidate, listing-to-client, product-to-buyer, or any other two-sided relationship. Deliverables, fixed price, and delivery date are confirmed in writing before work begins.
2.1 Ownership
You own the matching criteria, the entity data processed through your instance, and the matches it produces, from the moment of delivery. You own the deployed instance. Aeterna AI Architects retains ownership of the underlying reusable matching engine and general-purpose tooling used to build it.
2.2 Acceptable use
- You will not use a delivered instance to match against data you are not authorized to hold or process (e.g. scraped personal data obtained in violation of a source platform's terms).
- You will not attempt to resell the underlying engine as your own competing matching product without a separate licensing agreement.
- You are responsible for keeping any API keys or webhook secrets issued to your instance confidential.
2.3 Warranty and liability
We warrant that the delivered software matches the agreed scope and criteria logic at the time of handoff. A "match" is a scored output based on the weighted attributes you configured — it is not a guarantee of a successful transaction, hire, or sale between matched parties, and Aeterna AI Architects has no role in and no liability for what happens between matched entities after a match is surfaced. Our liability for any claim arising from a delivered build is capped at the amount paid for that build.
2.4 Post-delivery changes
Changes to your matching criteria, weights, or entity schema are chargeable per the rate agreed at scoping unless covered by an active support agreement, and are scoped and quoted the same way as the original build.
3. Privacy Policy
3.1 What we collect on this site
This marketing site does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or fingerprinting. The only data we receive is what you submit through a contact channel to scope a build. It is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote, and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
3.2 What the delivered software does with data
A deployed Match Engine instance sends match results only to the destination(s) you configure — your webhook, your CRM, your dashboard. We do not retain a standing copy of the entity data or match results your instance processes, and we do not have standing access to your deployed instance beyond a specific, time-boxed support task you grant.
3.3 Your rights
If you have contacted us and want your enquiry data deleted, corrected, or exported, email us through the channel you used to place your order. We act on such requests within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with GDPR-style access/rectification/erasure principles regardless of your jurisdiction.
3.4 Sub-processors and international transfer
A Match Engine build has no mandatory external sub-processor of its own — the core engine scores the entity data you supply directly. If you connect your own CRM or webhook destination as part of scoping, that is your infrastructure, not a sub-processor of ours. Where you choose to route match results through a third-party service, that service's own terms and transfer mechanism apply.
3.5 Data Processing Agreement
A Data Processing Agreement covering the enquiry-stage data described in 3.1 is available on request for enterprise engagements.
4. Match Engine in the Aeterna ecosystem
Match Engine is built to run standalone against any two entity types you define, but its output — a scored match, delivered to your webhook — is designed to slot into a larger pipeline if you're running other Aeterna AI Architects modules. A listing tracked by Scraper Engine, for instance, can feed directly into Match Engine's scoring without a bespoke integration. Running Match Engine alone requires none of this; the interoperability is available, not mandatory.
5. Contact
For any legal, contractual, or privacy question about a specific build, reach out through the channel you used to place your order.
